. Chopda is situated on the bank of Ratnavati river. The Chopda city is linked by road to the district place Jalgaon. Chopda is at an important location as it is one of the major stations in the Maharashtra-Madhya Pradesh trading route. State highway No 4, Burhanpur-Ankleshwar goes through Chopda. Tapti which is one of the major rivers in India, is around 10 km from Chopda.chopda lies in the heartland of jalgaon district with good connectivity to yaval,amalner,jalgaon.

The Unapdev tourist place is around 6 km from Adavad village in Chopda, Taluka. It is one of famous holy spot known for its holy natural hot water fountain offering medicinal benefits to one who baths.

The word 'Un-ap' means hot water and in Khandesh's Ahirani language 'Vuna Dev' stands for the almighty that generated this fountain. The hot water flowing right throughout the year from the mouth of godly cow is another factor of attraction for tourist visiting this spot.

Ancient stories quote that 'This hot water breeze was generated by Lord Rama for Sharbhang rishi having faced torments from evils.

Rel Maruti Mandir:

"Rel Maruti Mandir," is a beautiful temple of Lord Hanuman located 8km from chopda on the route to Jalgaon. The location is just perfect, away from the hustle-bustle of the town and not too far. Along with it, there is also a Shani Maharaj temple next to it.

Rameshwaram:

"Rameshwaram," one of oldest temples of Lord Shiva located on bank of river Tapti and Girana, is just 45 km from Jalgaon city and 20 km from Chopda. From Chopda, Kathore is one of the nearest villages to Rameshwar Temple by crossing Tapi river; in summer expert bikers can easily reach via this route.

The economical base of the town is mealy an agriculture and related trends. The surrounding rural area in Chopda Tahasil, Amalner and Dharangaon Tahsil are dependable on city for their day to day needs.

Number of educational institutions conducting various courses has also come up in last Two decades. Town is far away from high-way & railway stations, No big industries have been developed in the city.
