Download.CHIP.Asia

Download.CHIP.Asia was a new initiative introduced on December 11, 2008. Download. Chip brings a community feel, similar to one introduced in forums, to the downloads section. Users can contribute by registering with the site. Once registered, members can download software, write reviews, and also recommend software to be featured on the site.

The community feel is enhanced by a points system, where various tasks such as acceptance of recommended software, writing reviews, replying to questions asked by other members etc. helps the members to earn points . The points can then be used to win prizes in competitions run by the site and also feature in the Expert List of the site.
