Early and personal life

Lloyd used to live in Malvern with her parents Darren and Dina, and three younger siblings; brother Josh, and sisters Sophie and Rosie. She used to live in a flat in London with her boyfriend Craig. She is of Romani ancestry through her mother. Lloyd attended several different schools in Malvern including The Chase

Before The X Factor, Lloyd took part in the X Factor-inspired Sin and Bushwackers' Text Factor, in which she came second.

During The X Factor, contrary to reports of her being in a relationship with some other contestants, she was dating singer/songwriter Kameelion. She is currently in a relationship with hairdresser Craig Monk, whom she met in a hairdressers where Lloyd has become a regular since relocating to London from her hometown of Malvern.

The X Factor

She had auditioned for The X Factor 2 times before (when the minimum age was lower) singing ballads but it was only after reinventing herself that she got through to see the judges. Lloyd has previously performed at holiday camps and said she gets a mixed reaction to her music, but was a big hit with x-factor judge at the time Cheryl Cole. She remarked on their similarity and Cheryl went on to support her throughout the show. She auditioned singing the Keri Hilson

It received its first radio airplay on 21 September. The music video premiered on October 1, 2011 on morning show T4. Lloyd confirmed the album's title "Sticks & Stones" on her twitter. The album was released on the 7th of November 2011.

On November 21, it was announced that Lloyd would headline her first UK tour for March and April 2012.
