It is small town and a place where peoples from surrounding villages comes for shopping. It also has a comerce and arts college and two schools which provides education until 12th grades.Most population of CHANASMA is PATEL and JAIN community.Famous for jain temple of god BHATEVA PARSVANATH. saibaba temple is also famous in north gujarat.
