Allegations of plagiarism

Chakri has been accused time and again of plagiarizing popular Western music and North Indian tunes. Some of his songs have been accused of being complete rip-offs. Example Nidarosthale(Movie: Golimaar) being a complete rip-off of the Desparado song.

It also appears he has taken some material from the great A. R Rahman in the song, murepincha maina in Krishna.

This has led to allegations of plagiarism in media and industry about Chakri, where he defended his actions arguing that he was doing so at the behest of directors and actors.
