. Since 1925 the building is owned by the City Council of Reus, and is currently the headquarters of the Culture Department of the town.

The notary Pere Rull i Trilla of Reus contracted Lluís Domènech i Muntaner as the architect of his new house. The building was constructed in 1901. In 1996 it was renovated by the local architect Joan Figuerola.
