Bruce S. Allen is an American
foreign consul appointed by the ruling monarch and the prime minister of the Principality of Liechtenstein.
He is accredited by the State Department of the United States of America

, where Allen lived until 1968. He is an honor graduate of Warner Robins High School
(1968) and from there attended the University of Georgia
where he earned a magna cum laude, Phi-Beta-Kappa, Bachelor of Science degree in 1972. After university, Allen attended the Medical College of Georgia
where he earned an AOA Honors, Medical Doctorate (M.D.) in 1976, and from then until 1994, he practiced medicine in the academic and private practice arenas. He was made a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology
in 1980. Allen has served on the boards of directors and advisers for numerous organizations. During both 2006 and 2007, he served as Chair of the Annual Georgia European Union Summit
during which time he, in collaboration with the Georgia Department of Economic Development
, established the Georgia Featured Export Product Awards
. In 2009, both legislative branches of the State of Georgia, the Senate and the House of Representatives, passed separate resolutions commending Allen for outstanding accomplishments.
Also in 2009 he received the AGEUS Award for Individual Contribution for work in foreign relations and economic development. In 2010 the organization Les Ponts du Coeur, headquartered in France, presented Allen with their Thomas Jefferson Monument for his friendship with the People of France. It is the only such Jefferson monument of its kind in the United States.
