The Brothers Arnaud were Jacques, Marc-Antoine and Dominique Arnaud, three brothers from Jausiers
in the Ubaye Valley
, who were the originators of the Ubayen emigration to Mexico
and Louisiana
during the 19th and early 20th centuries (emigration movement of the "Barcelonnettes", Barcelonnette being the main city in the Upper Ubaye Valley, west of Jausiers). They belonged to the Laugier-Arnaud family, a major merchant and banking family in 18th century Ubaye.

in Louisiana. In 1821 he and his brothers moved to Mexico, where they set up the shop "El Cajon de Ropa de Las Sietes Puertas". He was assassinated in 1828, near the Mexican town of Guanajuato
