. Soon after he was associated with eminent San Francisco chefs like Hubert Keller,Traci des Jardine and Gary Danko. Gradually, he grew in fame and located to Hanoi in 1996. He opened up his restaurant known as Restaurant Bobby Chinn here.

His restaurant is famous for its fusion of American and traditional and authentic oriental food. It has been contemporarily decorated with hookah pipes, chandeliers, and other antiques.
