In 2005, they added a shred-style guitar player, Shred Sean, from Long Island

In January 2007, after the addition of vocalist Tony Gambino, they signed with Century Media, who sent them into the recording studio. The band spent April at The Farm in Vancouver BC with producer GGGarth Richardson and engineer Ben Kaplan, recording what would become Pedal to the Metal. The rest of 2007 was spent touring the US with The Devil Wears Prada

, and several others. However, they had to cut the tour short due to bus problems and the passing of Tyler's grandmother. They played their last show of the tour at the Christian Rock festival Heavenfest.

In 2010, Rex Krueger left the band to pursue other ventures. Sam 'Ryder' Robinson (from The Morning After) played rhythm guitar on the band's European tour while Casey Jones stayed home to be present for the birth of his first child. Sam Ryder since has been the full time rhythm guitarist.

2011 will see the band's new album be released worldwide on a Tooth & Nail Records.

On June 24, 2011, Tooth and Nail Records released a video on their Facebook page welcoming Blessed to the family - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFU2_mDaVu0 This video features part of the new song "Holding Back for Nothing".

On September 30, the band announced "Deathwish" will be released on October 17, 2011 for the cost of a witter|tweet]. It will be the first single from their upcoming album, Feel the Power, with a planned release date of January 24, 2012. The album artwork was also shown in a video featuring Tony Gambino.
