Biron Dewal is a village in the Rudraprayag district
of Uttarakhand
state in northern India
. It is situated about 3 km from Chandrapuri and is famous for the Maa Chandika Temple.
:wave:Beron Dewal is one of the most popular village in Rudraprayag district. It is at a distance of about 45-50 Kilometer from main market of Rudraprayag. The Rudraprayag-Agastmuni-Pathalidhar-Basukedar-Guptkashi road directly leads to this village.The climate of the village & surroundings areas is quite healthy & Full of Natural beauty. The atmoshphere is free from all types of pollutions there. It is neither hot nor cold. Water is very cool & sweet.Beron Dewal is also famous for its Erudition, Brotherhood, high social & moral value and for its unity. The other nearby villages of this village are Bast,Pali,Naini Poundar Kyaark Barsudi Chandrapuri .etc. The population of the village is around 2000-2500 but most of people/families have migrated to other majar cities due to unemployment and other less living facilities but still some greenery can b e seen in this village as well as its,Basukedar,Kandara Kaushalpur,Dankot, nearby villages.
There is an ancient Maa Chandika Devi Temple in the middle of the village which is recently renovated by the villager cooperation & assistance. Everyday at morning & evening the villagers go to the temple and worship and pray for harmony,peace and salubrity. One very interesting & praiseworthy thing can be seen at the evening time in this village. At the evening time (in between 5:00-7:00 PM) most of villager comprising with men,women & children get accumulate in the temple premises and sings devotional songs. It runs more than one hours. At that time the atmosphere seems very comfortable and pleasant. After supplication one person of the village lit the flame and perform "Aarti" ritual. All the villagers take great interest in this activity.
Dimri,Bhatt people is also worshipers of Goddess "Ma Chandika". It is their "Eest Devta".Kaal Bhairav temple is about 1 Kilometer far from the main village.Lakchmi Narayan Temple in east side of Village is ancient Temple located at apposite site of Bansbaada,people says that this place is old Biron dewal village and Brought Maa Chandika Devi from there to Beron Dewal Temple. All the Dimri, Kandpal Bhatt Nautyal Bhandari,Negi,Bisht,Rana, people have great faith in the existence of Goddess "Maa Chandika". The following mantra of Goddess "Maa Chandika" is often can be hear by the mouth of every village person.
The villager are very honest and hardworking. They are very religious minded. Mainly Beron Dewal village is a Brahmanas & Rajput village and Dimri kandpal, Nautyal caste Brahmins live there but along with Famous in this region Bhandari Rajput them some other Rajput caste people have also been living there like Negi, Rawat,Bisht since a long time etc.There are minority community peoples also All people live together with friendly & happily.
As far as literacy is concern, this village is also very enriched in itself. All the people are well educated and now settled in their respective fields. One very interesting & noticeable point about this village is that most of the olden people from this village are soldier. Some of them have been completed their services with honestly,efficiently and respectfully and some of them are in the last phase of their government service. The new generation of the village is also taking keen interest in their education & career. The girl literacy ratio is also up to mark. No girl can be seen illiterate in this village. Parents are very cautious about their children educations & future. Each & every youth is completely under controlled of their parents.
