Nearest airport is Ahmedabad airport. Bhiloda is well connected by road with Himmatnagar, Idar, Shamalaji, Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad. National Highway No. 8 goes from Himmatnagar to Shamalaji and passes near Bhiloda (NH 8).

Demographics

It is a multicultural village. Today Bhiloda has increased in population and geography to a level that it became more like a town than a village. Hugh mix of people is living here including brahman, patel, darji, kshatriy, adivasi, bhil and sindhi. Most people from Bhiloda have settled in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Himmatnagar and other places due to business and jobs.

. Shamlaji is situated approx. 18 k.m. east of Bhiloda on National Highway 8 (NH8). Shamlaji is an ancient temple of Lord Vishnu. Idol of Shamlaji temple is made from black stone so local natives call deity 'Kaliya Thakar (કાળિયા ઠાકર)'. Lord Vishnu is also called 'Gadadhar' because he holds gada (ગદા) in his hand.
