bengal institute of technology campus is located at kolkata 8 lane expressway and is surrounded by agricultural land & educational societies. The campus has separate hostels for boys and girls. University has a complete wi-fi campus with fully automated library and a different Student activity centre for co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. University also boasts of state of the art auditorium, confrence & seminar halls.
Central Library
Central Library consists of a number of departmental libraries which collectively support the teaching, research and extension programmes of the Institute. All students, faculty members and employees of the Institute are entitled to make use of the Library facilities on taking library membership. The Library besides having a huge collection of books on engineering, science and Bioinformatics, Humanities and Social Sciences, Mass Communication offers library services through its various divisions. The Library uses (Libsys/SIM) software package which is an integrated multi-user library management system that supports all in-house operations of the Library. Libsys consists of modules on acquisition, cataloguing, circulation, serials, article indexing and OPAC. Central Library has 9925 titles, 74585 volumes, 238 National Journals, 165 International Journals, 75 magazines, 760 CD's. The Library is also in institutional membership with DELNET & American Central Library.
