The Accommodation Review Committee (ARC), will either recommend that Barrie Central remain open, or be closed due to costs of repair to the building. There is a strong will from within the school and in the surrounding community to keep Barrie Central open. The Simcoe County School Board Trustees will make a decision in March or April 2011.
