Geography

Baireddipalle is located at 13.0833°N 78.6167°E. It has an average elevation of 704 meters (2312 feet).
It has been surrounded by Beautiful Forests(Koundanya Abhayaranyam)and there are very beautiful waterfalls is there its name is water fall.

Here, being sandwiched between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu with a 10KM width, People can speak Telugu, Tamil and Kannada.

This place is about 55 kilometers towards West of Chittoor, its district head quarters. Bangalore, the capital of Karanataka is about 115 kilometers from here.

There are "Sri Kodanda Rama" "Sri Gangamma" "Sri Rudreswara Swamy" temples here. Another very old temple of "Sri Seshadri Swamy" stands towards South of the village in front of which there is huge stone having some inscription in an un-known script. This temple was almost in ruins till later part of 1950s. One of the prominent people of the village took interest and restored it during later part of 1950s and early 1960s.

The annual "Mailara Jatre" which is celebrated about fifteen days after Sankranthi is very famous and attracts visitors and participants from around 60 kilometers radius.

River Palar takes its birth in the deep forests about five kilometers from this village.
