Ayla Marie Kell is an American actress. She is known for the role of Payson Keeler on Make It or Break It.

Career

The aspiring star began her career during that late 1990s, gaining experience bit by bit through small roles in a number of television shows.

Ayla Kell was first seen on the television movie "Get to the Heart: The Barbara Mandrell Story". It was aired in 1997, enabling the actress to work alongside Maureen McCormick, Greg Kean, Portia Dawson, Evan Rachel Wood, John Doe, Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers and Barbara Mandrell herself. Kell followed up this performance with a role in the 1999 drama thriller, "The Omega Code". She played the character Maddie Lane in the film, which was directed by Robert Marcarelli.

After a long break to concentrate on developing her craft, Ayla Kell returned to screens in 2004. She was chosen for a guest role in the acclaimed FOX series Malcolm in the Middle, playing the character Kylie in the episode “Dewey’s Special Class.” Her next part was as a cheerleader in the 2005 Steve Carr comedy Rebound. This enabled her to act with Martin Lawrence, Wendy Raquel Robinson, and Breckin Meyer. Kell then appeared as high-schooler Chelsea in the dark comedy Weeds, on the Showtime network. She then bagged a part in Without a Trace in 2007, and on Just Jordan in 2008. She soon got to play a small role in the comedy-drama What Just Happened, which starred veteran actors like Robert de Niro, Sean Penn, Bruce Willis, Catherine Keener and John Turturro. Also that year, Ayla Kell was seen on CSI: Miami. She finally landed a starring role in the Steve Miner sport drama Make It or Break It, playing the character Payson Keeler in the ABC Family series. Joining her on the show are Cassie Scerbo,Chelsea Hobbs, Josie Loren, Peri Gilpin, Zachary Burr Abel and Candace Cameron Bure.
