. It is also known by the name of, Aarungkhola , Aarunkhola and Bhagra (Old fashioned Name). It is an emerging business market of the Nawalparasi district.
The east-to-west Mahendra Highway passess through the Arunkhola bazzar, and is located 197 Km south-west of the Capital city Kathmandu. Even though it covers only about 10 km² area of the Naya Belhani VDC, it is densely populated.

Economically,It depends on agriculture and foreign remittance, though significant numbers of people are also engaged in their own business. Despite all these, Remmitance has played the vital role for its economic development than others.
