 to the east. It is snow-free in the summer. The ice-free surface area of the beach and the adjacent Veleka Ridge is 468 hectares (1,156.5 acre).

The feature was named after the coastal lagoon of Arkutino in southeastern Bulgaria

Arkutino Beach is located at 62°45′00"S 60°19′40"W (British mapping in 1968, Spanish in 1991, and Bulgarian in 2005 and 2009).
