Annunciation Orthodox School began as a ministry of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Over the years it has grown from one early childhood class to a school averaging 670 students. AOS is a co-educational, family-oriented school.

The school begins with Delphi Class (age three years) and goes through eighth grade. The AOS curriculum is stimulating, innovative, student-centered and based on the principles of motivation, hard work, and creativity within a nurturing Christian environment. With its close proximity to the museum and performing arts districts, medical center, major universities, libraries, downtown, and zoo, the acquisition of knowledge occurs outside, as well as inside, the classroom. Regardless of the learning activity, the highly qualified faculty is dedicated to challenging the minds of the students and inspiring creative thought. Nationally normed standardized test scores range from the 80s to the 90s, on average, validating the school's academic program and teaching methods. Through this foundation, AOS lays the groundwork for high school and beyond.
