Although Anas attended at the 2011 Asian Cup in Qatar, he did not have a chance to participate in any of Jordan's matches at all after receiving a severe injury from a friendly match between Jordan and Uzbekistan on January 2, 2011 when the final match result ended 2-2, about 7 days right before their first group stage match with Japan in Qatar.
