case; she ordered his release in July 2010 pending a possible retrial. He was later resentenced, after his appeal, by Judge St. Eve to 13 months in prison- that is in addition to the time he has served thus far and that will complete his previously modified sentence, which had been reduced from 6 1/2 years to 42 months overall, according to June 2011 CNN and Associated Press reports related to his trial.
