In the past, the district office of Laplae was located in Mueang Thung Yang. Later it was moved to Mon Cham Sin, about 1 km north of the present location. In the past, the district office of Laplae was located in Mueang Thung Yang. Later it was moved to Mon Cham Sin, about 1 km north of the present location.
