Family and early life

Amjad Hyderabadi was born in Hyderabad Deccan into a small Family.Amjad who saw his entire family including his mother, wife and daughter getting washed away in the musi river flood of 1908 and he was the only survivor in his family. He was very depressed with his life for the long period. Therefore most of his Ruba'i reflects his depression and lost of his family.
Some of his greverance for his family
The Musi River flood, which uprooted and wiped several localities and low lying areas of Hyderabad, was not only a natural disaster, but a historic event and a point of reference for the people of Hyderabad.
