Geography

This place is center for konaseema area.It is located at a distance of 7 km from Amalapuram town, which is the main trade center for konaseema area. Ambajipeta has a very fertile black soil which is very suitable for coconut cultivation. This place was one of the leading exporters of coconut and its products. The main sources of income for people here is the coconut.Many people are farmers while some are involved in coconut export business.
The locality is very scenic with vast coconut fields with plenty of water streams flowing between them.
People here are very friendly and unlike other villages and small towns in Southern India people are proficient in Hindi.
Road ways are the only means of transportation available and there are many buses available from around Andhra Pradesh to reach this place.
