from 1923 to 1924, and as city solicitor for Manchester from 1935 to 1936. He was a judge on the Superior Court of New Hampshire from 1937 to 1945.
On November 16, 1944, Connor was nominated by President Franklin D. Roosevelt
to a seat on the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire
vacated by George F. Morris. Connor was confirmed by the United States Senate
on December 5, 1944, and received his commission on December 9, 1944, serving thereafter until his death.
