2nd Land Force Brigade

The 2nd Land Force Brigade is a mixed brigade of Serbian Land Forces. It consist from infantry, armored, mechanized, artillery, air defense, engineering and signal units.
The brigade is formed on March 28, 2007 with command in Kraljevo
from the former land forces units located in western Serbia; 252. armoured brigade from Kraljevo, 37. motorized brigade from Raška, 20. motorized brigade from Valjevo, 401. artillery-rocked air defence brigade from Jakovo, 305. engineering brigade from Obrenovac
, 524. logistics base and 24. special purpose battalion from Kragujevac
and 228. signal battalion form Gornji Milanovac
.
It's covering the territory of western Serbia, from the border with Montenegro
on south to Drina
and Velika Morava
rivers on west and east, to area around city of Valjevo
on north. The most units are, like the command of brigade, based in Kraljevo, while the other units are based in Novi Pazar, Raška and Valjevo.
