duo, consisting of Paul Varney (not the son of actor Reg Varney
) and Daniel James (real name Colin Heywood), who were produced
by Nigel Wright and Stock, Aitken and Waterman. The band was created by manager Jeff Chegwin and were signed by Simon Cowell to Fanfare Records.

in the UK Singles Chart
with their cover version
of Dan Hartman
's disco track, "Instant Replay
