YNN provides weather every 10 minutes on the 9's of every hour, as well as local news and sports throughout the day and breaking news as events warrant.

YNN launched at 7pm on March 25, 2009. Jim Aroune was the original Executive Editor of the channel.
Aroune is no longer with the company.

The channel is available in almost all of western New York except for portions of Cattaraugus County served by another cable provider
