Woodloch is a small bedroom community which incorporated in 1974. It is a Type B, General Law municipality, with a Mayor, five Alderman, a Public Works Director and a City Secretary. The council meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month, 7:00 PM at City Hall. All administrative and facility offices are housed in the City Hall building located at 2620 North Woodloch Drive. The mailing address is: P.O. Box 1379, Conroe, TX 77305-1379. Office hours are Mon-Tue-Wed 9:00am–1:00pm, and on the 15th of every month 9:00am–5:00pm.
