The village has one pub called the 'Plough Inn', serving meals and housing a well-used pool table; the pub can be noticed to the left side of the Main Street immediately after passing the left turning to Welburn (Page Lane). Further up Page Lane there is also a playing field used for cricket in the summer, with tennis court and a children's playground (which has been recently updated) close to the entrance. Its chapel was recently knocked down to make room for housing.
