After finishing the 2008 season on the practice squad, Billingsley was re-signed to a future contract on January 5, 2009. Though it was initially reported Billingsley had been waived during final cuts on September 4, the team opted to keep him under contract after an injury to cornerback

Billingsley was signed to a future contract on January 10, 2011. He was waived on July 29.

Personal

He was arrested for misdemeanor charges of domestic battery and resisting arrest in October 2009 for allegedly trying to throw his girlfriend Leah Michelle Boyd out of their apartment. They had been living together for four months. She does not want to press charge.
