In Holland the West Coast Challenge is a run-bike extreme sport event to raise money for the KNRM. The KNRM or Royal Netherlands Sea Rescue organisation is a voluntarily organisation, who perform rescues on the North Sea.
The West Coast Challenge is a race on the beaches of Holland over a total distance of 128 km. One of the participants is always running on the beach, the other accompanies him on a mountainbike.
