 in 258. This was because Sun Lin was about to rebel against Wu, which he initially did. At one time Sun Lin was asked to join in a certain banquet that was held by Sun Xiu. Sun Lin consented to this banquet even though of course it ran a grand risk. During the banquet the guards appeared at the unexpected moment and captured Sun Lin, in which he begged for his life. However, he was not spared of this and was killed along with all of his family.
