, who was one of the four generals slain by Guan Yu. Wang wanted to avenge Han so he plotted to assassinate Guan. He pretended to be a hospitable host when Guan stopped at Xingyang, while ordering his subordinate Hu Ban

 to lead a group of soldiers to burn down the guesthouse that Guan was staying in. However, Hu admired Guan's sense of righteousness and secretly helped Guan escape. When Wang learnt that Guan had fled, he led his men on pursuit and caught up with Guan. He was slain by Guan in the ensuing fight.
