, on the frequency 89.5, at 66 kW. Later the station moved to 89.3 and increased power to 100 kW. The station has won many awards, including outstanding news operation from the Associated Press. Sister stations include WZNB (FM), New Bern at 88.5, WBJD (FM) Atlantic Beach at 91.5, and WKNS (FM) Kinston at 90.3. Public Radio East also operates a repeater in the city of Greenville, NC at 88.1 The call sign for the repeater is W201AO.
