Silent

WNBV fell silent on July 7, 2010 when it filed a Notification of Suspension of Operations/Request for Silent Temporary Authority, due what the owner called "technical site change" and "financial limitations" with the status "being requested so the applicant [owner] can do technical changes to their site and obtain finances."

In early 2011, WNBV returned to the airwaves, again with a Positive Country format, but this time not via a network. The station is now branded as "88.1 The Mountain".
