. Starting October 1, 2009 WFJO began simulcasting WJXL-AM (1010 XL...Jacksonville Sports Radio.) The station will break away from the simulcast on Sundays to air NASCAR races while 1010 XL presents its Jacksonville Jaguars coverage.

WFJO, whose signal covered the far northwestern part of the area, has relocated its 92.5 signal to Jacksonville Beach, Florida

, where it will cover the Jacksonville area. The relocation comes as the adjecent 92.7 signal that was formerly occupied by WJBT is moved further south and out of the area under new ownership. WJBT moved to the more powerful 93.3 signal in 2008.

On March 15, 2011 WFJO changed their format to gospel, branding as "Joy 92.5".
