History

WEPG was one of the first stations in the country to adopt a true classic country format featuring music recorded from the very beginnings of the country genre recorded from the early 1920s up through the 1970s. As a part of the format, WEPG also plays Bluegrass, Americana, Western Swing, Southern Gospel, and other traditional formats.
