Viqarunnisa Noon School is one of the most renowned schools in Bangladesh. It has a glorious past. It was founded in 1952 by Begum Viqar-un-Nisa Noon

Begum Viqar-un-Nisa Hossain Noon (nee Victoria) was Austrian by birth. Born in 1920, she married Sir Feroz Khan Noon

The Noons often participated in social work and Viqarunnisa Noon School was one of its projects; there is also a Noon Educational Foundation that funds Pakistani students to study in Oxford and Cambridge, alongside the Viqar un Nisa College for Women, Rawalpindi in Pakistan.

Viqarunnisa noon school has four branches. They are:

i Mela is held at the school campus. A new club named Viqarunnisa Language Club has been opened. It also has an English mediam section from class 1-10 but it's inside the Baily Road Branch only.

Besides These activities students participate in different types of art competitions, different types of games like, football, badminton, handball and so on. Every year Viqarunnisa Noon School participate in display competition on 16th December(our national victory day)and tend to bring glory every year.

Every year in S.S.C result the students bring great achievements for the school.This year the school has achieved second position in combined.
