A documentary featuring Vince was broadcast by Channel 4
on 11 October 2006 at 10 pm. This documentary followed his efforts to save the local Ruth Lancaster James hospital from closure, secure a film deal and find a girlfriend. The documentary was well received, with The Times
television critic commenting “...although the planned feature film is being written by Paul Abbott...Abbott is going to be hard pushed to outdo Collerton’s funny, sad documentary”.
