Mikael Karlsson, or Vigilante Carlstroem as he is better known, is the guitarist of the Swedish
rock band The Hives
, which formed in 1993 and was one of the most important bands in the garage rock revival.

Vigilante has also been contributing to the album Ge Fan I Våra Vatten (Don't fuckin touch our waters), which is a record made by Swedish Rockstars (that like to practice fishing in their sparetime) to raise funds for the protection of the fish in Swedish waters.
