Playing Denise, the comedy hit record breaking ratings and started Vernetta on her acting career professionally. From there she has starred in various productions and taken on roles that have ranged from daughters to mothers and from doctors to mental patients
She starred in other television sitcoms like, 'Can I Help You', 'First Touch', 'Shiver', 'Random Acts', 'Big Day Out', and coming up in Jan 2011, the Okto Channel's 'Zero Hero', playing Lady Magnificent alongside Timothy Nga.
She also stomped the comedy floorboards in 'What the Butler Saw', starring Gerald Chew.
