The Vancouver Dragons deferred participation in the 2007-08 season citing arena issues. Most recently, the Dragons were waiting until the conclusion of the 2010 Winter Olympics

At the present time, it is highly unlikely that this team will be joining the CBA. The Dragons website is now inactive, they have received no media coverage, and there has been no news from the league.
