 in Philadelphia and for Famous Players-Lasky Corporation. She married Olcott, with whom she would remain for the rest of her life, and after he left Kalem she performed in a few films for his production company before retiring in 1918.

In 1918 she sailed on the SS Tuscania from New York to U.K. It was being used as a U.S. Army troopship and was torpedoed by German U boat UB77 near Ireland. Most on board were saved and were taken to Ireland or the Isle of Mull in Scotland.

Grant died in 1949 a few months before her husband.
