. It was recorded by the band during the time they were part of the Playtyme record label, but the band petitioned release from them before the album could be released. Almost one whole year later, the album was released via itunes for $9.99. Vaeda are currently on indefinite hiatus, and future details on tours and gigs to promote the album are unknown. A CD version of the album was released by Amazon.com soon after the digital release, but this hard copy is still yet to be confirmed as official. Unsafe At Any Speed contains 12 songs, some of which can be heard on the band's website. Songs have received some airplay on 94.3 WMJC, and some have even been used commercially in television shows on MTV

Unsafe At Any Speed has had many different album artworks, some official, some unofficial. The original promotional artwork for the album, designed by Aristotle Dreher

, depicts a heart with 'ribcage wings', and is reflective of the band's motto:

"Music has the power to change hearts,

The image has since been used for Vaeda store merchandise such as T-shirts. The second album cover variation was an unofficial 'make-do' cover, originally thought to be produced by scoopscorner.blogspot.com as no official artwork existed when the album was leaked onto the Internet. This version was made from one of the band's myspace photos with some text overlaid. The final official artwork was redesigned by Aristotle Dreher

 after announcing their indefinite hiatus. It is that of a falling man logo and a U-turn symbol on a highly textured background using the band's three colors: white, black and red. This combination of images is powerful and thought provoking, as one clearly cannot influence the other, and suggests flawed physics.
