Udo was part of the starting eleven of Sporting Afrique FC, when the club made its debut to the S-League Singapore League in 2006. Udo netted in 5 goals out of the first 10 matches for the club but unfortunately, a knee injury ruled him out for the rest for the season. His talents, however, did not go unnoticed as he was invited for a training stint with the Singapore U-23 team as he was in the process of recovering.

Udo was called on to play for Thessenson Khalsa FC as soon as his contract with Sporting Afrique ended and the club, due to controversy, did not carry on in the league the following season. There, Udo scored 14 goals in 14 matches and landed Thessenson Khalsa the 2nd spot of the 1st Division League that season. Impressed by his contribution and work ethics, Udo was called upon by officials of the club to play for Thessenson Khalsa FC's sister club, Balestier Khalsa FC, who are part of the S-League, for the rest of the S-League season.

Not new to the S-League in Singapore, Udo, always willing to prove his worth to any club he plays for, netted in 9 goals out of 11 games for Balestier Khalsa FC. He was Quoted as "Balestier's good Fortune" by a local journalist in an article although the club ended the league at mid table by the end of the season, where they were at the bottom half before his appearance.

With a totally different style of play as compared to the S-League, Udo struggled to find form when he first started playing for the Malaysian, Seremban based team, Negeri Sembilan Naza FC. After a couple of matches, Udo managed to find the back of the net and was consistent from then on, scoring a total of 14 goals in 20 matches played. With the hope of playing for the same club the following season, the Malaysian FA ruled for there to be no foreigners in the Malaysian Super League and Premier league the next season onwards.

Udo was signed to Arema Malang FC, a Malang based team in Indonesia, after 2 days of trials with them. He went on to have a good season consistently making the first eleven line up. He was recognized mainly for working very well with his team mates by assisting most of the goals on top of the 5 which he scored in 12 matches played in total.
