. Yugoslavia won the group, but were banned from the final tournament due to political reasons. Denmark took their place and ended up winning the whole competition. The biggest upset in this group though was the fact that the Faroe Islands managed to win against Austria in the opening game and draw against Northern Ireland in their third fixture.
