A locally owned company, Dunn the Mover, has provided public bus service to the Town of Fort Erie since 1977, and has entered into a Public Transit Service Improvement Agreement with the town, expiring September 6, 2012.
Consideration will be given to make the transit service accessible to as many riders as possible without impacting on bus scheduling.

Scheduled Route

Regular operation consists of a single route served by two buses, running approximately once every hour. Service is provided Monday to Saturday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:35 p.m, with no public holiday or Sunday service.

FAST

Fort Erie Accessible Specialized Transit (FAST) provides transportation for those unable to walk 175 metres or climb the three steps to board a regular Fort Erie Transit bus. The FAST service is operated by the Canadian Red Cross Niagara on behalf of the Town of Fort Erie. A modern accessible fleet of three vans are in service with trained drivers. Applications for service are received by the Town of Fort Erie's Transit Administrator and must be signed by a licensed health care professional.

Niagara Specialized Transit

This service, operated by the Canadian Red Cross, is for eligible residents of Niagara Region who need to travel between municipalities for medical appointments, employment or education purposes.
