and he scored his first Shelbourne goal during a 2-0 victory over Kildare County
at Tolka Park
on August 21, 2009. Griffiths scored 4 goals in 13 games in the 2009 First Division season for Shels before he returned to Crumlin United. His second spell at Crumlin was a successful one as Crumlin won the Leinster Senior League Senior Division title and retained the FAI Intermediate Cup.
