On the July 4 episode of ECW, DeVito reappeared as a fan imitating a preacher, telling the other fans in attendance and at home that ECW was evil. After his monologue, he revealed that he was not a priest, but merely dressed up as one to get his word out. The Sandman came out and attacked him again, leading him to run away into the crowd.

Defiant Pro Wrestling (2006–2007)
